Olney Christmas Parade

The 2019 Olney Christmas Parade was one of the biggest parades since its creation. The floats were creative and bright. We loved that our friends from Frozen made a visit in the parade with us.

Illinois State Board of Elections

There was excitement in the air in Springfield this morning when I filed my petitions and statement of candidacy at the State Board of Elections to be placed on the March Republican primary ballot. There were hundreds of candidates present to file their paperwork, including State Senate candidate Darren Bailey. The line was much shorter in 2012 and 2016 when I filed at the County Clerk’s Office to run successfully for State’s Attorney. I look forward …

Olney Fire Department

You should never doubt a fire station’s ability to make a great breakfast. The Olney Firefighters Association Pancake and Sausage Breakfast appeared to be a great success this morning. Thank you firefighters!

Holiday Inn Craft Show Olney

The craft show at the Holiday Inn in Olney was a good opportunity to buy homemade crafts. The cookies we bought to support the Claws & Paws Rescue Center were excellent. The craft show continues tomorrow, and if you go, you should also check out the wooden flowers from one of the vendors. They looked like real flowers!

We had a great evening in Grayville tonight planning for the upcoming months with these great friends we met on the campaign trail. We enjoyed meeting new friends as well. The support is very much appreciated. Thank you! #mattinmarch

When Ave was 2.5 years old she was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. We were worried about what this meant for Ave’s future. Ave was classified as nonverbal when she was diagnosed and just recently has begun …

Veterans Day

I would like to honor my Dad, Keith Hartrich, for his service in the Navy in the 1960s. He served on the USS Intrepid, which is now part of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City. He and my mom taught all 9 of their kids the love of God, family, and country. He taught us the value of hard work. I remember at his funeral that my uncle Rick Hartrich …

Robinson American Legion

Thank you to all who have taken the time to honor those that have served in our Armed Forces. To our veterans, we appreciate you today and always. 🇺🇸

Fairfield Veterans Day Parade

The Fairfield Veterans Day parade was a great display of patriotism and community pride in our great country. I was happy to be there to honor our veterans.
